1. Detailed description of goods and/or services
Luxury Channel is a business in the second-hand retail industry that buys and sells pre-owned luxury goods such as bags and shoes.

2. Delivery policy
Delivery is subject to availability and receipt of payment, payments will be processed within 5 working days and delivery confirmed by way phone call, WhatsApp or email. Please note that goods will not be couriered without receipt of payment. Once payment is received, your order will be processed and couriered within 3 days. Please note delivery time frame is country dependent.

3. Export Policy
Kindly note that we do ship internationally. Please note that prices do not include South African VAT. International customers will need to pay import tax where applicable.

4. Return and Refunds policy
Luxury Channel reserves the rights to refuse a refund or return for the following reasons:
a. Water Damage:
The Luxury Channel will not be liable for any damage to the piece caused by water. It is advisable to not submerge or get water on your piece. Any existing warranty provided by The Luxury Channel will be null and void if water damage occurs.
b. Wear and Tear:
Luxury Channel will not be liable for any wear and tear caused by the consumer. Items cannot be returned or refunded if the following has occurred:
– Sales tag has been taken off
– It has been worn by the purchaser
– Item not returned in its original packaging
– Damage has occurred or been caused by accidents or mishandling/mistreatment of the piece (Scratches/wear/damage/functionality/etc.)
– Consumer went against the manufacturer’s guidance
– Any modification of an item by the addition or substitution of components by aftermarket products not provided by the manufacturer will also invalidate the warranty.
c. Discount Policy:
Luxury Channel has a strict no-returns or refunds policy on any item where discount has been given. If you have negotiated a better price for your item, the item immediately becomes NON-REFUNDABLE.

Once the assessor has approved a refund/return, the following will apply:
The amount refunded to you is liable to cover the handling fees, shipping fees, import &
duty fees (if applicable) and card fees incurred by your returned purchase. A credit note or
refund will be issued within the 7 day refund policy – the value of the refund or credit will
be at the discretion of Luxury Channel.

The warranty is in addition to your statutory and common law rights.
Should it be revealed upon diagnostics of the timepiece that apparent negligence is evident, with regards to the functionality of the watch, the policy may be subject to incur additional costs to restore piece back to optimal viability.

5. Customer Privacy Policy
Luxury Channel shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, “personal information” shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). The PAIA may be downloaded from: http://www.lawsofsouthafrica.up.ac.za/index.php/current-legislation.

6. Payment options accepted
Payment may be made via Visa and MasterCard. Alternatively you may reach out to our sales consultants if you wish to make payment via cash or EFT.

7. Card acquiring and security
Card transactions will be acquired for Luxury Channel via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for all South African Acquiring Banks. PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no Card details are stored on the website. Users may go to www.paygate.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.

8. Customer details separate from card details
Customer details will be stored by Luxury Channel separately from card details which are entered by the client on PayGate’s secure site. For more detail on PayGate refer to www.paygate.co.za.

9. Merchant Outlet country and transaction currency
The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR).

10. Responsibility
Luxury Channel takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.

11. Country of domicile
This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and Luxury Channel chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature: 11 Alice Lane (1st floor, Bowmans Building), Sandhurst, Sandton, 2196.

12. Variation
Luxury Channel may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.

13. Company information
This website is run by private company based in South Africa trading as Luxury Channel and with registration number (not registered yet) and with two directors, Adam Woolf and Ran Loupo.

May & June Gifting : Terms and Conditions
  

• The gifting vouchers is open to residents of South Africa aged 18 years and over, except employees of The Luxury Channel, The Diamond Channel, The Watch Channel, and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organization. 

• The Gifting vouchers will run from 22 May –  30 June  2024. 

• In order to receive the voucher, participants must make a purchase of R10,000 or more on a single transaction from any of the three websites: The Luxury Channel, The Diamond Channel, or The Watch Channel. 

• Each qualifying purchase will then receive a R2000 Life day spa voucher. 

• The voucher is a luxury spa voucher from Life Day Spa to the value of R2000, valid for 3 months ONLY from date of issue, The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other products.

• The Voucher will be an emailed voucher.
